THE ISLAND
24 Month Meditation
13 June – 13 July 2010
Located in a basement without windows in London East End and similar to an isolation cell, the Island is the studio of the artist Daniele Geminiani, who develops exhibition projects as part of his art practice. Since 2009 the studio has presented works by established artists such as Dan Graham, systematically linked to collaborative projects, thus defining a space devoted to research. After Radical Relations, which was a series of three shows resuming the nature of Robert Vincent project (started in Zurich in 2004), The Island is currently developing 24 Month Meditation, a nomadic biennial which runs in a period of two years dedicated to meditation and states of trance.

Such an incredible exhibition, you could really see the 2 years of creative inspiration to create such a piece of art.
The inner journey is something that I explore within my blog and I can see through Dan Graham's work that this is something that he definitely took to heart.
Thank you for sharing!
